Data Sheet
Portable, small, lightweight, and cost-effective 16-channel radio
for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET).
Key Benefits
The WAVESWAY MU7 creates powerful, highly secure networks in any environment.
Though it looks like an ordinary portable radio, it always works as a repeater,
bringing together data and voice in real time and relaying the signal. The MU7 forms the most advanced, most scalable,
and efficient Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET).
Long-range
Any coverage area can be provided through network configuration. Proven coverage area of more than 10000 square kilometers with thousands of subscribers.
Longer mission endurance
12 hours per charge for standard missions. Replace the battery within seconds.
Scalable
The number of subscribers and retransmissions is unlimited.
Profitable and economical
It operates in the unlicensed frequency
band, eliminating the need for expensive communication
centers.
Remote Control and Monitoring
Remote monitoring of location, signal strength and battery level.
Programming of device parameters via radio channel.
Stay Connected Anywhere
Most radio devices struggle to maintain signal when travelling through urban, subterranean and maritime environments. Yet, the MU7 thrives in these complex RF restricted environments. With the ability to self-form and self-heal, the MU7 routes your data around obstacles by using multi-path propagation, maximising network performance, agility and mobility.
Continuous Connectivity On The Go
Every device on a WAVESWAY network communicates with each other, forming a true peer-to-peer mobile network without the need for a master node or base station. Add or take away MU7 radios from the network without losing connectivity or having to reconfigure your devices. Routing data from radio to radio enabling the network to grow, adapt and extend as more MU7’s are added.
Superior Voice Capability
WAVESWAY technology enables you to maintain continuous voice connectivity as you move around corners and traverse the environment, delivering crystal clear voice over 16 switchable, configurable, and independent talk groups.
Secure
Secure broadcast, private, and group messaging using AES 128-bit encryption.
Low Profile
It is difficult to detect because it utilizes short burst transmissions and
an advanced MANET protocol.
Rugged Design For Any Environment
Able to withstand extreme conditions in the harshest environments, meeting the highest standard ratings for temperature, shock, water and dust resistance.
Connection of external equipment
Possibility to connect external antennas of different types and external
headsets.
